The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Soldiers Table

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with extensive world-building, a wide array of personalities, and a exciting storyline including angels, demons, and sinister influences expanding in strength within the urban setting.

Note: Revealing details for the latest installment of Campaign 4 follow below.

The Warrior Group Introduced

Episode 3 concluded with a major cliffhanger and presented the first table of adventurers who will separate from the central cast to begin their separate journey, distinct from the additional parties.

The combat-focused team features the determined fighter (brought to life by Travis), the agile character (the talented performer), Tyranny (Whitney), Wicander Halovar (the player), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).

Dividing the Cast

Considering a large ensemble, it was clear from the beginning that having everyone at the same party would be impossible.

That’s why, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, connecting the characters’ stories before branching into three smaller tables: Fighters, Planners, and Explorers.

Characteristics of the Warrior Group

According to Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for adventurers who enjoy a traditionally charged fight-heavy gameplay experience where peaceful solutions are rare.

Upon first impression, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander might look out of place, but the events of the latest installment show why these specific adventurers are best suited for the warrior group.

Why They Must Go

First, the group understands precisely where to proceed after a violent opening clash with The Crow Keepers.

A former ally of the deceased character—whose death kicked off the narrative’s action—manipulated the foes for his personal gain, invading the secret base, attacking Thimble, and swiping all the powerful objects to auction.

Casimir then cleared his obligations and ran away to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, above Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.

Character Drivers

Moreover, each member has a personal reason to depart Dol-Makjar:

  • The rogue, as the companion and trusted friend, wants revenge.
  • Kattigan has experience in Timmony and advises that it is a dangerous place.
  • The strong character and The cleric, having defied his family’s wishes to kill the target and instead saved him, have no other options.
  • However, their reputation as important members in House Halovar could enable the party enter locations they usually can’t.
  • Additionally, The grateful character pledged a eternal obligation to The cleric for his rescue and will now accompany him wherever.

Pursued by Authorities

Finally, all of them are sought by the powers that govern the city for a variety of reasons, making lingering locally too risky:

  • Thimble and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
  • The strong figure and Wicander defied House Halovar and the army of fiends they are partnered with.
  • The fighter is targeted for elimination by House Halovar.

This means them little choice but to head to the northern region in search of Casimir.

What’s Next?

From the recent installment’s post-show segment, we learn that the Soldiers table will not appear next week, leaving the remaining eight players to round up the Seekers and Schemers parties.

Fans can expect learning which players will be where in the story’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on October 24.
